I did a search and could not come up with an answer.

Quick question ---

I mounted 6002si speakers in the front doors with no problem (1-7/8" top mount depth. I have an opportunity to change out to 6002i speakers with a 2-1/16" top pmount depth.

Do any of you have these 6002i speakers installed and was there enough clearance so you did not have to shim them outfrom the door?

 

I know crutchfield magazines have a chart that lists depths throughout the years for the speakers and head units. Try www.CRUTCHFIELD.com. And they should still have a link "what fits in my vehicle" I'll go take a look over there too in a little.

 

Yeah, I know about that but they are taking the "easy way" out and recommending the 6002si speakers. I am ASSUMING that if some guys are installing the POLK 60.5cs speakers w/ 2-3/16" top mount depth that the 2-1/16" depth should not be a problem; HOWEVER, I want to know for sure before I get the speakers and rip the doors apart.
