News from 4WD & SUV magazine

Saw a link for a cool fab shop.
http://www.upnover.com/

They make custom bumpers & sliders for the Land Cruiser.
I don't think I have seen these guy's before.
I like the grip tape they put on their sliders too.

Jon Bundrant co-owner of All Pro Off Road in CA. got his mug shot on the cover of the new issue in their heavily modified '89 Toyota mini.

This is a great magazine and I am now a subscriber to it.
Just about every month there is coverage of a Toyota vehicle in it.

Also in their 4x4 Products section is a portable shower unit from Zodi.
Still have not decided yet if I want a portable unit like this one, or a on board shower setup.
This one here is a lot less work, but takes up more room to carry.
Not included however with the shower is the model.

Also in their 4xForum section is a satisfied customer of the same brand of jerry can I recently bought.
Nice to see that customers are happy with some of the same gear I have purchased.

Wow Chris, that paint job is wild!
Looks good.

Man, I wish I could ride along with some of you guy's in the SAS'ed rigs and see how it is rock crawling.

One day I hope to get an older Toy like yours with the solid axle and put a flat bed kit on it.
I'd still have my Runner, but having a 2nd Toy to do harder stuff with would be a lot of fun, and less worries about screwing up the daily driver.

Chris, are those BFG Krawlers? Can you give us any inside info on them? Will they be radial or bias? Are they still looking into a "make your own tread" type deal?

Yes they are the BFG's. This set came with the tread shown. At the events they have had both the above tread and the cut your own. I don't know if they will make it to market. The are a radial design.
