Scofco - I know this is off the topic, but i noticed your spare tire, and i am looking into a 1990 runner that i might by but i haven't seen it and i was curious if the spare tire is standard, and if so does it come with that neat tire cover? lol...odd question i know but i'm just curious if that's an aftermarket thing

I don't read Car and Driver, what's the deal?

-----

As for the spare tire carrier, I think it came stock in 1990 and 1991 on the V6 SR5 models. Not sure on this one, I wasn't able to find anything that said this though.

The cover is also stock, it'll have to be junked when I get my fullsize spare though

so that is the stock fullsize in there and you got new bigger tires right....?

just checking to see if that's a case that's decievingly holding one of those "don't drive over 60mph" bicycle-tire sized spares.....

Running 32X11.5 with a 31X10.5 spare.

I'm too poor to get a fullsize spare right now with matching wheel

Car and Driver has a "Readers Sightings" section in the back. You can send a picture in via the Internet or snail mail. That would be cool!

How do you like your American Racing wheels? I'm thinking about getting their new 15x7 chrome Baja's. They look pretty nice on your rig. I think they'd compliment my new 32x11.50 15 BFG AT TA KO's pretty nicely. Just got lifted (SAW/OME) a few days ago.

I love them
Alot of people around here have the American Eagle 058 series, the American Racing ones look much better in my opinion.

I was on BFG's site a long time ago and saw the tire/wheel combo they featured for the MT's. I had my mind set on getting that combo, and now I have it!

I take my tires off and take polish to the wheels whenever they get nasty, they still look brand new.

I like the look of the American Racing one's better too. This year the15x7 Baja's are available in chrome. I need to get some prices. Who's got good prices on wheels?
