Question New to forum. Need help with fitting Revos

Im a newbie and would just like to say hi and ask whats the widest and tallest Bridgestone Revo I could put on a stock 4x2 4runner without any rubbing. Im aware of the search but came up empty. The tires I currently have right now are poop and I love the look of the Revos.
Thanks in advance

by the way its a 3rd Gen

I know that on a 3rd gen 4x4 you can run 265/75/16's without any rubbing, I did.

This topic has been covered soooooooo many times....................

So you love the look of the Revo? What exactly will you be using your runner for? If you don't see much off road, maybe you should look into something like a Michelin LTX A/T. It'll last you much longer (my dad ran 95k miles on those).

Don't be too harsh on the guy - tires have been covered pretty extensively and this specific information would take a pretty long time to uncover.

I didn't mean to be harsh, I've searched for this before and found info.....

Here are the tires:

Michelin LTX AT
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

Michelin LTX MS
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

Both of these tires last FOREVER! Do you see any snow? If so, the revos might still be your best bet.

Thanks, when I searched I honestly couldnt find anything on the biggest size on a 4x2 thats not lifted.

oh and we only get snow about 2 days out of the year with very little rain as well....

I was thinking of going 265/75/16

Fuzion,

Welcome to the forum but I'll have to say, we aren't a shopping service. If you've reached us here, I'm sure you have the basic internet skills to find the tires online to find the pics and prices.

I run the Revo 265/75/16's on the wifes '99 runner and they look great! I strongly recommend them if the majority of your time is on the highway.

If you upsize the tires, your rig will be slightly slower. I don't care what anyone says.

Just something to ponder...

The Revos was slightly more noisy that the DUnlops AT20 I had on my Runner. But at least they dont squeel under hard cronering.

on my 2000 SR5 2WD...

...I went from the crappy stock 265/70/16 GoodYears to 265/75/16 Revos. I wasn't able to tell much of a difference at all in performance of the truck decreasing. If it did it was too small to worry about. Period! If you have a 4cyl then it will be more noticable. Does your truck have 15" wheels or 16"? I also lifted my truck between 2-3 inches before going up. I could have fitted 285s with the lift but there was no need to. Find a tire store locally that carries the Revos in the size you want and test fit them. They should be willing to do that. Then you will know if they will fit.

Thanks All
I have a 4 cyl and it originally came with the 225/75/15, then i upsized with sequoia rims to 265/70/16 and i didnt see a loss in power.
Another question I was thinking about buying a set of stock 17 sequoia rims, on that size rim should i just stick to 265/70/17 revos or would 75 be ok.

Not bad per say you just lose power and you might not have a hell of a lot to lose with a 4cyl. Of course, you could regear a lot cheaper than the 4WD folks can. I guess that's one good thing about us 2WD folks.

Thats why I added..."But they were MTs". Just dont want people to think any 265/75/16 wont rub...cause thats not always true.
