1st Gen 4Run Brush Guard?

Where can you find a decent brush guard for an 87 4Runner? Anyone know of anything? I'd like something that has provisions to guard the headlights and mount additional lights onto.

There are tons of em out there. Try Googling for brush guard toyota, try ebay, try any offroad supplier (grab a 4 wheeling magazine and check out all the the advertizers, then go online and shop.) Shop around, prices run from $150 to $599 for what basically looks like the same product....

Here's one:

I did a little shopping around and couldn't find anything I was looking for. I like the one that was on E-bay (thanks flamedx4). Thats exactly what I was looking for, but I would like a black one to match the truck... If anyone knows of one that would be a great help.

Can't tell you what company made it, was on truck when I bought it. But it sounds like you're looking for something like this one right???

ya I'd like something like that, but I'd also like if it had the fins that protect the headlights.

Just like this:

Thats exactly what I'm looking for....

Go to a swap meet or look in the local paper for one, then just make brackets to adapt to your frame. You can make stronger mounting points, even add a winch if you design it right and still be cheaper than a new one. Just an idea..

i'm gonna be looking for one like that eventually, except i'm not going to bolt it on. i'd integrate it into my bumper and make it look factory, preferably with winch provisions
