Grill clip catastrophe

Hey, I have just registered for yotatech but have been an avid reader of the forums. I have a problem (not really a catastrophy) with my 91 pickup. I need to replace the little plastic clips that attach the grill to the frame but none of the local stores have what I need. Does anyone know where I can order some grill clips online that actually fit. Thanks

Didn't this JUST happen to another member within the last few days? I think the suggestion in that thread was to just use zip ties.

Hi Paul,

I lost/broke some too on my 98. Just go to your local dealership and order the part. They'll have it. Call ahead to make sure.

Yeah, that was me. Stupid 14 year old plastic!!

Paul welcome to the board, too bad your first post had to be for something broken. Anyway, I just used some long ty-wraps. Feed them thru the hole in the grill mounting lug, and then thru the body mounting hole. Worked like a charm, easy to remove in the future and cheap to replace. If you really want the clips you try the dealer or call a body shop and see if they have any laying around.

I also have about half missing.
Must be the good half though, because mine barely feels loose
