Angry How much oil do I need for my >>>

I have an 2004 SE 4runner 4L V6 and I look trough ever pages in the manual and cant find anywhere that said how much oil this SUV hold?? I call 3 Toyota dealership today and talk to the service adviser and ever one told me something different WTF! 1 dealer told me 6 qt the other 6.8 and 5.8 WTF is it??

I would ass-u-me around 5 quarts. Just throw 4.5 in, start it up for a few second, check the level, and add till it's full. You're not going to hurt anything running it a quart low for 30 seconds. You'll know exactly after the first oil change.

5.5 or 5 and 1/2 others will chime in and I'll check the owners manual cause it is in their, wait till the maintenance light comes on

the manual will list for dry specs most times.... with a filter change and oil change, not all fluid is completely evacuated.... for a v6, the level is usually between 4.5-6 qts required.... when changing oil i would put in 4.5 like others have said and slowly fill up.... its better than putting too much and then having to redrain and guess, or worse running it on too much oil

The manual does say 5.1, I ended putting in 5 1/4, but it should be 5.1.
