Just a question about locking rear differential?

Sorry to post this question but I was just wondering if there is any way to tell if your 4Runner has the optional locking rear differential with 4.3:1 differential gear ratio? Is there anyway to tell, other than just wheeling it to find out.

There would be a button on your dash that says "RR Diff Lock". As far as gearing, there is a code in your door jamb equates to the gearing in a chart out there somewhere. Mine says G144 which is 4.88's. Or if you call the dealer with your VIN, they can tell you.
