3rd gen 4runner remote programming
my mom bought her 98 4runner used, and it has the alarm and keyless entry, but no remotes came with it.
i can score a remote on ebay for about $10 or so but then it needs to be programmed
there are instructions for sale on ebay on how to program a remote, but i was hoping someone else here had done it already or knew how to do it, thanks

Be careful which remote you buy off Ebay. If you use the search feature (as goldtaco9 was kind enough not to mention) you'll find posts warning the grey remotes don't work. You'll need a black two button remote with the appropriate FCC ID.
