1986 22re intake manifold question

Can someone please tell me what needs to be in this spot? I have a 1986 Toyota RV and it's the 22re, my problem is that I didn't disassemble the engine to replace the head. Now I'm trying to get the intake manifold on the head but I don't know what is supposed to be there.

Looks like this pipe in the pic, unfortunately I have not physically messed with my 22re in that spot to verify what it is, possible emissions tube of some sort but I’m sure someone else will chime in.

Fairly certain that is for a metal coolant hose that runs around the back side of the 22re head and over to the driver's side where it connect to a rubber line.

Note that the metal hose fitting that Discombobulated shows in his picture requires a rubber o-ring there to seal it. If you really want it I can probably dig up the part number since I purchased one last year on my truck.

it has nothing to do with the egr. an egr block off plate won't fit.

it is exactly as described above - a coolant line that routes from the intake to the back of the block, and then pokes out on the driver side of the block. it is for the heat in the cab of the vehicle, and to heat the intake plenum/runner.

Thank you for letting me see that photo that helps me tremendously. This has been a puzzle and I can't find any information on that piece until now. Thanks

Johnny I believe I do have an extra one, I have to go dig through the parts bin to verify. I will send you a private message if I manage to find it.
