Hello, I’m new here and I’ve been trying everything in my knowledge to fix this issue. I have a 1984 Toyota 4 runner with a 22r motor. I bought a 22re cab harness out of a 1985 4Runner, due to my 22r harness being melted from previous owner. I put the 22re harness as long with the fuse box harness to match the harness. I put a 22re harness in my truck so that I could run a 22re later when I want to upgrade from 22r or just install a 22re intake on my 22r. I am getting mostly everything to work with this harness. Turn signals, hazards, dash lights, brake lights etc. I’m not getting head lights low or high beam. Not even when I I just pull back on headlight switch, don’t see it on gauge cluster either. My headlights worked before the harness swap. I have checked wiring diagrams, checked power, checked all the fuses. I can’t hear or feel the relay clicking and I did replace it with one I knew worked and still nothing. I do still have the 84 steering column in my runner but I checked the wires and it shouldn’t be different?
