Transmission module wiring diagram 1986 pickup

I haven’t been able to find any information on this transmission module in my 86 pickup. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for these? The brown and black wires on mine lead up to the transmission and are connected together but not to anything else. I am hoping to find out what they go to.

Sure looks like an aftermarket part to me. What are you trying to make the trans do?

Hey thanks for the response. It’s not that I want it to do anything specific. I’m just chasing down wires right now trying to find power drain issue and noticed these were ran all the way to transmission and it looks like they’re suppose to connect to something that may have broken off. I can’t seem to find the wiring diagram to know what they go to.

Never seen that. Not an oem part. Maybe some sort of mod for towing? Or being towed, like a driveshaft disconnect? Just wild guesses. I can't imagine it had anything to do with the trans internally.

edit: well, I found this. Made by ARA. Cruise control?

Nice find on that one! I like how they sell them but give no additional info on what it is. I have cruise control setup from factory. This gets a bit closer to the mystery. I tried a search with google lense and this didn’t even come up.
