need bed skirt panel, 88 pickup

Hi Folks. My truck body is mostly in great shape -- but one bed skirt panel (left front) has been bashed in, pulled out and kinked. It's beyond reasonable repair. I found the part number (see diagram), but of course it's long out of stock. Does anyone here have an idea where I could get one -- junkyard or old stock? Note: this is the multi-part long bed, not the seamless side bed sometimes seen. THANKS for any guidance you can give.

Your diagram shows a Japanese bed. There were both Japanese and USA made beds, and the skirts were different between the two. The easiest way to tell is by the lip rail. Japanese beds had that old style lip, while USA beds were flush.
Also long bed or short bed made a difference.
But I'd imagine you could find one at a "pull a part" yard and cut one off. Just make sure the bed is identical to yours. I've seen them on eBay, but they want obscene amounts for them

Thank you. Yes, I've got the Japanese bed. I found the full part number online, specific to the Japanese long bed. Not available. But -- for those of you out there with 4x4s, company in Canada makes them, and other panels. Search online for Alfaparts -- Wolf Steel. I was steered there by another post on this forum someplace.

Yes, there's a junkyard in my future. And quite a few in my past as well.

Wolf steel body parts is a great resource. I think you mean alfaparts. I need to replace the rear quarter panel in my runner as the salty north east has taken its toll and that's who I'll be using for the panels when I finally have the time.

Yes, you're right. I edited my post just in case someone comes across it and can use the reference. Sure wish Wolf/Alfa could have supplied the panel for the 2wd truck too!

Depending on where you're at you can find a bed on car-part.com, down south has a nice selection last time I was looking.
