R150 hard to get into 2nd

Well here I am hat in hand again.
My tranny just has a devil of a time going into second. Either from stopped, or slow shift or from first going pretty fast. Double clutch, whatever.
It does feel like the looser-boy that rebuilt it probably messed up the detent balls and/or springs. Is that a possibility?
I replaced all the bearings, syncros (probably should have left those alone because they honestly looked fine - but what did I know?)
TBH I don't know that it ever worked properly to start out, because I bought it salvage.
Been looking thru screwtube but I probably just don't know enuf to know what I'm looking at.
Timmy-Toolman I recall did a 3rd gen R150 recently. Guess I'll go back and watch that again.
When my son comes around will try maybe bleeding it again.
Its a new slave. And of course clutch plate, pressure plate, etc.

Any one have ideas of what to look for, its appreciated. Thinking about maybe spending bux and getting another salvage yard effort.

95 4runner with now a 3.4L
tranny from a 1994 3.0 5speed, 4WD R150

Did you change the shifter seats when having the transmission redone? It helped on my truck in the past. It's also a pretty easy thing to try before pulling the trans and tearing into it.

Marlin Crawler has "heavy duty" ones fort $13.

shifter bushing seats

Yes, I did change those also. Thanks

Thinklng its something I did wrong on assembly. Bound to happen when 2yrs + lapses between putting it back together.
Going to call around to some salvage yards Monday.
