Hood Insulation Pad for 89 Pickup? (paint cracking)

My 1989 Toyota Pickup did not come with a hood insulation pad, so when I repainted it 10 years ago I didn't think it would be an issue, but the hood is the ONLY place the paint has started to crack & get dull--especially the area over the radiator.
Is there an OEM or aftermaket solution for the pad? Toyota discontinues more & more parts for my truck, so I've gotten to looking at stuff made for the 90s 4-Runners, etc as well.
Thanks!

Thanks--That might work as a last resort, but I'm hoping to find something that's closer to the OEM pad.

Toyota didn't put hood insulators on the 22RE vehicles, but they did on the ones with the 3VZE, and they use the same hood. So maybe used, though good condition could be tough.

Here is what I used.
Thermo-Tec 14120 48" X 72" One Sided Thermo Guard Flame Retardant Thermo-Tec 14120 48" X 72" One Sided Thermo Guard Flame Retardant
It works very well, hood is cool to touch after driving around.

Yep, this is correct, oddly enough.. I was researching this last year for my 22RE truck. That uxcel stuff on Amazon is the right price, and to be honest, would probably work better than the original pads/insulators on the 3VZ trucks. But I get wanting to keep it OE as well.. Let us know if you find a source for new remake versions etc. or anything else that works. I thought about buying a new pad from like an older Cadillac, Lincoln etc boat car hood pad…. and just cutting it to my needs. Cutting the pads is easy, but also, acquiring a set of good hole punches is very useful for gasket making etc. I use my hole punch set all the time. Driving old cars and keeping them on the road makes hole punches a must. Amazon for a large cheap set. They work. I may go the uxcel route as well.
