92 pickup, oem e locker swap

Ive got a 92 pickup, and found a decent deal on a whole rear axle with locking differential out of an 01 4runner. 4:10s sane as my truck, So far ive deduced that I'll need to grind off a bunch of stuff, easy peasy. And weld on new leaf and damper mounts, also not too hard, i know its a little over 2 inches wider, so I'll need to make new brake lines, (get a new parking brake cable?). I'll put 1" spacers on the front and hope it doesn't eat wheel bearings. I have a few questions though, am i missing anything? Are the backing plates for the drum brakes the same? Will my stock driveshaft bolt up? Etc etc

You could put the 3rd member into your existing housing

Swapping the third is a lot easier. Notch the housing, drill and tap two M8 holes, bolt it in.

swapping the 3rd into your axle housing will probably be easier, then you get to keep your track width too
