Howdy folks! Well, the first or second-gen 4Runner suits me best in Fit-Form-Function so I am shopping for another one here in the Philippines.
The Hilux Surf is nice, but I have concerns about the conversion from right-hand drive to left-hand drive. On the other hand, there are rare 4runners for sale here. I saw this 1988 converted to more flood-resistant diesel on Marketplace, but have doubts about how legit is the "Original Solid Front Axle" on a 1988.
Any ideas? TIA,
I can not talk about Asia or their 4Runners, but here in EU, the pickup/Truck/Hilux came with SFA until 1988.
Maybe they swap an US 4Runner body into a 90's Asia/Australian Hilux frame that came with SFA and diesel engine?
