Good morning, Could someone please post a photo of their factory or dealer installed ac compressor so I an get an idea of what compressor manifold I will need? I have everything else. Going from aftermarket AC to factory or dealer setup. Thanks! Dave

 

My 1986 2WD truck takes a Denso 10-P 13-C compressor. It's runs on R-12 still.

 

Joe any chance you can snap a good pic of the manifold on top?

 

I'll snap some pics tomorrow after the rain stops. I've been looking for replacements as well and have yet to find any like mine.

 

These are the best I can get. Cant get overhead as too many engine parts in way. This is from a 86 Toyota Truck 2WD OEM AC.

The high side (left) manifold is separate and different from the low side (right) manifold. I have searched the internet for these exact ones and have not found them anywhere. Even on specialist web pages. Good luck.

RockAuto lists the 89 22RE ac compressor as a 10PA-15C. Mine is a 10P-13C.

 

I did see this picture of this Denso 10P-13C with a Low side (right) manifolds that look similar to the one on my compressor. The high side (left) does not. https://www.acparts.com/product/denso-10s13c-reman/

 

I have a 1990 I can probably get a pic of tomorrow if it will help. I just converted it to R134A and the high side charge port sticks out to the passenger side toward the battery. The low side charge port points rearward. That I remember. They suck to get to to charge the A/C. I have to pull the battery, hook up the hoses and reinstall it.

Nice photo! Thank you! Now that manifold looks to be one piece? I'm wondering if Toyota changed to the "peanut" style fittings instead of the threaded fittings in 88 or 89.

 

I will order a suction hose from my Autozone and see what shows up. If I remember when I talked to my commercial acct guy he said he could only get the suction hose.

 

You can cut the aluminum crimp off and reuse the fitting if you find hoses in a junk yard. It's basically just a barbed hose end. Just cut the hose to get the fittings. That's what I did when I swapped a 3.4 into my 88. I used the 3.4 compressor and fittings and connected to the original 88 system fittings. I just cut the aluminum sleeves off and bought the hose I needed. I just slid the hose on over the barbs, marked the orientation in case they rotated on the fittings, and took the hoses into a shop to get them crimped. Maybe you already know this. Just putting it out there.
