1995 T100 5VZ fe 2x4 SR5 dies after warm up.
I can let my engine cool down and immediately after starting I can drive it like the devil and nothing happens. Right after the engine thermometer hits the center of the meter, the truck dies. When in the dying process, the throttle jumps up and down like crazy then it dies. If I try to start it while it’s warm, it will start but takes a few cranks then idles right around 900-950 no issues. A soon as I press on the gas it dies. Fuel pump works I got under the car and tested it with a drill battery it wined (buzzed) like it should.
Engine light is on but my OBD scanner says “can’t connect”
after cooldown engine light turns off and I can start it again and it fires right up. When the car is cool it fires right up no slow start.
• New fuel pressure regulator
• New vacuum hoses
• New spark plugs
• New throttle position sensor
• New coolant temp sensor
• New camshaft positioning sensor
• New PCV valve (and grommet)

 

Honestly? it sounds like to me a coilpack is dying and I bet that check engine light is a misfire code on one or two of the cylinders. I'd start with finding a way to pull that code (different scanner) and go from there.
