I run into nothing but dead ends on this subject. I have 95% of the stuff for a 3RZ swap. Initially was planning on doing it to my 1985 4Runner, but just could not pull the trigger. Just not enough power gain to justify the work (I decided to go 1UZ instead). So I figured I might as well try to swap the 3RZ in my 1991 2WD regular cab truck. The oil pan is the only hang up. Anyone out there swapped an RZ engine into a 2WD pickup?

 

What is the issue you're running into with the oil pan?

I am planning on doing this swap in my 94 2wd and have been gathering parts for a while. I just need the time to start it
