I have an 88 toyota pickup with a 22R. When I bought it it had trouble starting, we cleaned the fuel lines, fuel filters, and cleaned the carb. I still have trouble starting, when it starts I can't press the gas to hard or it will kill the engine. Once it idles it seems to idle hot, and now it's burning oil like crazy. I have yet to do a compression check and I was wondering what else could be wrong and what should I look at?
