Need cold start injection help 87 T4R 22RE
my cold start injector works if i put 12v to it, but its not getting voltage on "start/crank"..and yes we check the CS r4elay/timed switch its good not getting power either.
Now, does it get voltage from the COR? i used to get a click when crank from the COR now i dont, but my fuel pump works and it runs just hard to start.
note: we just got this and the neutral safety switch oin the a/t is dead so we bypassed it. is that possibly why we have no power to the CSI?
---issue #2 with the CSI injector fuel line disconnected, and we hit "start" why isnt the pump coming on making it spray fuel? agqain truck runs lol

If you get fuel pump operating when the truck starts, at least 1/2 of the COR is working properly. If the fuel pump doesn't run when you're cranking the engine over, the other half of the COR is bad. The COR thus needs replacement.
Now, IF the fuel pump is running at any time, but no fuel in the CSI fuel line, that line is clogged. If you have fuel pressure in the fuel rail that feeds the injectors, you should have fuel up to the CSI. If you don't have duel to the CSI, that small hardline is clogged. Try blowing it out. It would blast whatever is clogging it back down into the fuel rail, and thus possibly into an injector or two. You need to balance your needs.
No, the CSI doesn't get it's +12VDC from the COR. It get's it from the ignition switch in the Start position, IF the Cold Start Time Switch is closed, and the ECT signal to the ECU is correct. It get's it's ground from the ECU provided all the correct conditions have been met. The coolant temp below 176° F, the key in Start, and the Start Time Switch engaged. You also need +12 VDC to the ECU, but you said it runs, so I'm presuming you have that, or it wouldn't.
Time to start checking the voltage from the key direct to the CSI. If there's +12 at the key switch, but not at the CSI, it's time to start running the wires to find the break.
Is all that as clear as a foggy day in San Francisco?

we think we might have found the issue, just bought this and found he hot wired the starter solenoid around the neutral park switch on the A/T, which means many things arent getting power, and appears that the CSIT power comes through there according to 2 wiring diagrams i found. cleaning the neutral park switch now
