I'll looking to do an auto to manual swap in my 87 4runner and wanted to get a full donor vehicle to make things as smooth as possible. I read tons of threads and think I have a good list of needed parts, but wanted to get views on what is the best/easiest donor to swap

- What year runners should I stick to (I was thinking 86-88 since they use the same transmission)

- can I use other vehicles like pickups, or non 4 wheel drive pickups and what years?
