Groaning noise

I’ve noticed a kinda groaning/ growling noise while slowing down recently, the best way to describe it is that it sounds similar to a truck with big tires going down the road that. The front bearing and races were replaced around one year ago, I check the u-joints for play, they appear to be fine, Turing the steering wheel doesn’t affect it, nor does pushing in the clutch. Any suggestions would be appreciated. 92 22RE, Ext cab, long bed, 2 wheel drive.
