I need to know what this part is, I thought it was the EGR valve but upon ordering it, I found that the EGR valve is behind the carb. I have the Haynes repair manual but can't seem to find anything. TIA

 

Under the hood should be a vacuum diagram. I didn't see the diagram in the 85 FSM, I'm sure it's there just not sure where exactly it would be at.

Here's a page that looks somewhat similar to that. I know the older 22R's ran a different carb (or maybe it was 20R), not sure if 85 and 87 would be the same or not.

 

I believe that's the "Idle Up Diaphragm". Not sure about the part number, but I'm pretty sure that's the name, anywho.
