Hey dave, I just got home...

I'm sorry we missed you guys, looks like we were about 5 min apart. Everyone said meet at the outpost, so we stayed there for a while. Oh well... We will have to cordinate better next time (my bad). I'll hurry and compress and upload my pics. Will has the most and hes going to burn and send them my way when he gets a chance. He has some good'ns! I atleast go to see matt's rig parked... I heard you had a little tree incident (I hope you got the insurance like I told you!!)

hey guys, it was a great weekend out there, wasnt it. i saw some of you a few times, but we had quite the group from school, and then we hung out with the guys that own goliath, the big yellow jeep( it used to belong to a member of pirates of the rubicon http://www.pirate4x4.com/timbo/hollywood/dave.htm ), that things was awesome, we wheeled with him sat night after we finished fixing rigs. i hope ot get some pics up soon.

 

Yeah, sorry I didn't get to meet you but I got to see your rig atleast in a drive by this morning to the outpost. Maybe next time, I missed half the group because we were running 15min late :pat: Oh well...

I just wanted to thank everyone for comming out and sorry to those that I missed. It sounded like you had an interesting time out there on the trails. Next time it will be more organized I promise! We went out and hit a few trails today but got out of there before all of the jeep crew hit the trails. I hope everyone had a safe (and trouble free) trip home and I can't wait til next trip (maybe a couple weeks after SE4RJ?)

My pics will be up shortly I should have Steve's up tomorrow and hopefully will's by next week (depending on when I get the cd).

PS How about that DUST... I hope they get some rain!! Everything was still pretty green but it seemed like they hadn't had rain in weeks!

damn that 4roc sticker is HUGE ! sorry jason and i couldnt make it, life got in the way. I'm ready to see lots of pictures. How was the traffic on the trails?

 

amazingly not bad at all...

Sat steve and I only ran into one rover and a few 4Wheelers... they were definately the worst traffic wise. Had a couple jeep incounters today but that was about it. The dust was much worse than the traffic... IMHO.. i have about an inch thich coat on my dash right now... Sorry you couldn't make it, but did you get that supra??

 

truck stuff/4wheeling took a back seat this weekend, we had much more important things to think about. That said maybe we'll both be able to drive our trucks to tellico in three weeks, crazier things have happened, or im just hopelessly optimistic.

 

well, I couldn't really tell if they were good things or bad things by that post... At first I was thinking bad things, then i re-read it and thougth good things since you would be able to drive it in 3 weeks... but now I'm just confused why i'm thinking about this so much. I hope she will be on the road in 3 weeks reguardless as to what happened this weekend.
