22re crankshaft oil galley plugs

What material do the crankshaft oil galley plugs need to be made out of? I've read something about them needing to have some flexibility or something? Is steel ok? Or does it need to be zinc plated steel? Or something else?

Well, they're metric pipe thread. So your best bet is either dealer or a website marketing Toyota parts.
I wish machine shops would just reinstall when they're done. My guess is they make cleaning the galley out the owner's responsibility to limit their liability.
