Cruise Control wiper switch versus no CC or intermittent wiper

Hey all, I picked up a steering column with tilt and it also has the cruise control and intermittent wiper switch on it.

I have my firewall all the way torn apart right now, so I'd like to swap the tilt column back in instead of my original.

I don't really care about the cruise control, although it may be nice down the road, but I would REALLY love to have the intermittent wiper delay.

On to the questions:

On trucks with this wiper/CC switch, how was the windshield wiper fluid activated? I would need a way to wire that in separate I guess?

The Plug connection is similar but there is at least one pin different between these two large harnesses, and my truck did does not have the small accessory harness (I'm guessing this is the CC connection, based on tracing the wires)

Can I use the intermittent wiper switch? Or do I need to stick with my original switch and just transfer it over to the tilt column?

No wiper button on the end of the arm like my original wiper switch.

little white accessory harness.

Blue is from CC and Tilt, Black is my original connector

Thanks

Wiper spray activated from a button on the end of the wiper stalk.

Your switch is broken / incomplete.

I think there is a relay/timer box under the dash to facilitate the variable intermittant wiper function, as well.

Best to transfer your old switch over.

the 84310-28150 T.S. assembly was used on 84/85 4Runners(maybe 86, too) but 87 4Runners had a different part number. That may explain different wiring. The timer relay for intermittent wiping is built into the T.S. switch..
