New fenders

The new fenders sort of a big deal as the shipping from USA to my door in Canada was $13 USD Usually shipping fenders just prohibitively expensive eg: $100 per fender

I have been wanting new as my fenders got a lot of poop in them.

$100 per fender is the cheapest I have heard of, and that is definitely a deal on shipping! Is that where you ordered from? Tong Yang?

Let us know how the fit up is, if any modification is required.

I took another look on eBay this am and there are quite a few fenders available with lower shipping rates than has been the case for many years...not $13 as I got but $36 and I would have jumped on that one as well
Not sure when I’m installing, possibly if I paint again this summer,,I had squirted a wet coat on few years ago to freshen truck up and that was when I learned the fenders had issues

Purchased on EBAY from Autoparts-Nationwide. The grand total was $170 USD including shipping and import duty. I told the bride when I bought this truck I would drive it till I'm dead,,maybe longer so gotta stay on top of things.

Keep us updated on these. Theres a lot of cheap fenders with various reviews in terms of fit and metal gauge.

Just started looking for some new fenders for my 1990 4runner. How did these ones work out? did you have to paint them?

I have not replaced the fenders. Mine are not that bad. I could likely repair my old fenders and sell them to recover the cost of the new fenders. I will paint the new fenders on both sides of panels before installing.

The original fenders are not too bad of shape. Will likely repair at a later date. I have to sandblast some of the fender brackets so this is going to be a week long project to install the new fenders

and found this area rusting. Seams as usual are culprit

top hinge driver side after some sandblasting

passenger side worse. Nip this in the bud!
