Been searching to find source of periodic fuel smell. Finally found this. Bottom of canister. I did attempt to dig mud out but all the way into carbon. Who would’ve thunk it. Guess I’ll be shortening vent line on underside.

 

is it mud? or mud daubers/wasps?

 

hadn’t thought of that. Wasn’t a chamber fo larva.
