Bypass Hose Leak 22RE

I did a new timing cover , chain and head gasket on my 94 22re and everything pretty well. The truck starts and runs well
except for a coolant leak under the intake. It seems to be the little cross over hose so I got a new one with new clamps and
installed it. It looks and feels like it is clamped in place very well but the top part of the hose leaks a steady stream of coolant.
I'm an old guy and have replaced many hoses on many vehicles but never have I had this much trouble getting a hose to seal.
The hose fits perfect and I have tried several different clamps on it but no luck. What am I missing here ? I love my old Toy and
want it back on the road again.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Steve

Can you post a picture or two of the leaking area?
