22re truck clutch master cylinder problem bleeding.
Hello , need some help here, so I install a new clutch, master cylinder and slave on my 1994 Toyota Pickup 22re, the clutch pedal high is 6”& some, the play in under 1”, my problem right now is the bleeding line, have no leaks on either end of line, my friend pump the pedal 3 time a hold down, them I open the line and air comes out, the thing is that the air bubbles never stop, keep pumping and air keeps coming out. I was wonder if the new master o slave are bad, they are unbranded, what is a good brand to get, also the clutch engagement is almost to the floor, any help is really appreciated, thank you.

I just finished bleeding my clutch today. Also a 1994 22RE. I didn't change any parts but it was difficult to get the air out.
Maybe try pumping the clutch 10 times, with the bleeder closed, and it will build up more pressure before opening the bleeder?
Might be easier if the reservoir held more fluid too. I just bled the brakes today, before the clutch, and didn't have any issues.
Good luck!

Make sure the pedal is adjusted according to the FSM. VERY important, both to working the clutch, and to bleeding it. Unless the pedal is adjusted properly, it can prevent the master cylinder's piston from properly moving through it's entire stroke. Thus, it can trap air, draw in air, etc. Or just cycle air in and out of the system.
IF the slave and master were both dead empty, you should have "bench bled" the master before installation. Again, in the FSM. Another important step.
It can take a lot of pumping to get air out of the system. Assuming all the previous is correct, just keep pumping until you start to get the "feel" on the pedal. Make absolutely certain you keep plenty of fluid in the master cylinder, too. If it gets low enough to suck air, you just wasted all your previous effort.
I believe I've heard that one way to get a good start is to pull the rubber cap off the master, open the bleeder and just let the fluid flow out, keeping the master filled up, until no more air comes out, THEN do the pump, bleed, pump, bleed, method until no more air comes out. I've never replaced a master so I can't say for sure.
Good luck!

I want to thank you everyone for all the help. I end up replacing the first master, brand new was defective leaking the fluid from behind, good thing I had another one, installed and fallow you instrucciones, add brake fluid and pump around 10 time before bleeding lots of bubbles, after that did the the bleeding and everything is good no more air, again thank you. Before I pressed the paddle almost to the floor before engagement now about half away which is nice, the paddle high is 6”, play less than 1” inch.
I did the clutch, put all new seal on transmission.
I did timing chain., what a pain
i also change the differential fluid, transmission, new oil in truck , new crankshaft pulley seal, new seal in back before did the clutch, I really love this truck , no oil leaks anywhere, ice cold ac and runs like new now with 303,435 mile on Thanks.
