I have searched every forum on the internet and Im looking for help. I have a 1993 Toyota 4x4 22RE engine. It is giving me a code 31 vafm. The truck will start but only run for a few seconds (see that in alot of post.) If constantly press the accelerator pedal rapidly it will eventually pickup and idle extremely rough. I have run all voltage checks on the vafm, ecm, tps. I also checked continuity on all wire from vafm, tps back to ecm and all check out. I did the ohm's check on the vafm and the only reading that is a little off is VS reads 178 ohms and the service manual calls for 200, is this enough to say the vafm needs repair? If I unplug the vafm the truck idles like a new truck smooth as silk. If it is the vafm, where is a good place to get it repaired?
