Working on a 1988 Toyota pickup with a 22r fuel injected engine. The kid ran it out of oil and waisted the crank shaft and a couple of the rods the mains look OK.
I bought another 22r from a gentleman that can barley speak English so I have a major communication problem with him and just my luck the guy is an expert with Toyota. . The engine I bought from him was a carburated engine and he told me that the only thing wrong with it was head gasket blown. Well I had to destroy the head to get it off had 3 broken bolts . So I finally got the head off and it has different pistons mine are flat top and his are domb. Pulled the rod caps off the motor I bought and it's going to have to be resized. My question is will my flat top pistons work OK with the rods and block that had the domb pistons thank you for your help
