Input/Pitman shaft bearings for steering gearbox. overhaul
NOBODY? would really like to get this thing rebuilt. I've just been waiting to see if anyone has info on the bearings
I have seal kit #8849 for my power steering gearbox. This kit is seals only. Does anyone have information or part numbers for the bearings and gasket needed to match this seal kit in order to do a COMPLETE overhaul of the gearbox instead of just the seals?
I am also still not sure exactly which gearbox I have or how to identify it so you guys know which one I am working with.
Casting numbers/letters on the outside I can see are 35040, 35090, H, B, 7, TOYODA and as also stated in my bio my vehicle is 1990 Pickup DLX Xtracab V6 2WD 5spd

No info on the bearings that I can find on the web, and I did look quite a bit. In my experience the bearings should be marked with a part number on the outer race, so why not knock them outta there & have a look? They are likely to be NSK branded, made in Japan. so if you can see part numbers on them you should be able to find replacements.

I was hoping to be able to get some part numbers ahead of time but no luck here either. Thanks Swords
