Power Steering Shaft Seal
Anyone ever replace this seal with pump still on truck? Is it posible? This is the only leak I have on P/S pump. Looks like putting new seal while on truck is possible, but wondering if anyone has done this. Only problem I can see is getting old seal out without scarring shaft.

If anyone is interested the Toyo rebuild kit is P/N 04446-20031 for the model year in my signature for sure, probably same for others also and you should check those. If you have done any searching and reading, then you will know the kit has extra parts as this kit covers 2 type pumps.
I rebuilt mine awhile back with a NAPPIE kit and now I have to do it again. There is a remarkable difference in Toyo and NAPPIE front shaft seal, so take it from me and get the Toyo kit. In my area the Toyo kit was $36.30 with tax and NAPPIE was $15 to $19. Toyo kit was more inclusive than NAPPIE.
So, if someone tells you go Toyo, do it.
