Howdy!
Recently bought a 1977 Chinook (Pickup converted to an RV with a 3/4 ton rear axle) and someone had done a rather poor de-smog job (and re-wiring and re-carpeting and... yeah, she needs work but at $400 was too hard to pass on). Some things are disconnected, others connected. I'm in Texas, so I can totally de-smog, but I'm curious if there's a need/market for these old emissions parts. Should I clean them up and try and sell them? If so, is there any way to test the more complex parts? Or just put them with my pile of old parts from other projects? A Weber 38 came with the truck, so I'll definitely be selling the Aisin carb with the smog stuff on it.
