Help!! 22re pickup Engine coolest temp wiring

Help!! 22re pickup Engine coolest temp wiring

93 Toyota pickup 22re base model 4x4
Hi all. So the wiring wasn’t in the best shape and it was brittle and breaking away. I snipped the wiring at the connector to wire in a new connector and repair the bad section and I didn’t snap shot the orientation of the wiring into the connector.

please help me with which wire goes to which side of the 2 prong connector.! Photos or clear description would be awesome. I’ve tried searching everywhere and can’t find this clearly.

Looking at it with the clip on top the engine gest the pin on the left of the connector pin#1, pin#2 is ground.

But honestly it's just a resistor it's not super important.

Connector view

Is this view looking from the back of the connector at the wires while it in connected? Or is this with the disconnected connector looking at the pins head on?

Again it's a resistor it really doesn't matter which way you wire it, but for clarity pin numbers go from left to right and are always given looking into the connector not at the wires.

Ok thanks. I got it.
yeah I was thinking maybe the resistor was fairly important for that controlled voltage released to the sensor. The reason I was asking about this was because Frank, (my Toyota) starts up strong and cold idles higher like normal. Then say about 30-45 to 1 minute in it the high idle drops out to a low jumpy idle. Occasionally it catches itself, and re stabilizes; occasionally it doesn’t and almost dies. I’ve tested so many units. Just can’t figure it out.

If I force the idle with slight acceleration until more warm he’s good to go. But even then between 800-1400 rpm there’s a slight hesitation in the acceleration. Been on this scavenger hunt for a while. Just looking for some insight
