when i drive it then park it for 2 hours or so then come back to start it again it cranks for a really long time until it begrudgingly starts. maybe the cold start injector is only turning on when it is cold but not warm maybe? idk.
at an earlier time i did the marvel mystery oil piston soak, cranked the engine without spark plugs in it to make sure oil was out so i don't bend rods or something. i pulled the spark plug wires and two wires came detached from the metal clips that attach to the plug so i had to fix them. while the engine was running i pulled all the wires and every single wire i pulled made it idle lower. so that makes me think the wires i fixed are not causing a problem. agree? idk maybe i should get new wires anyways.

*update* new sparkplug wires did not fix the problem. pulling efi fuse and reinserting seems to temporarily solve issue of hard warm starts. i guess its starting lean only on warm starts? i have had the check engine light (code 71 egr system malfunction) on for quite some time. i tested egr with vacuum and it held. not sure if this is relevant to my issue. anyone else got any ideas of what it could be?
