My low mileage 94 T100
I just picked up myself a 1994 T100, 3.0, automatic, 4x4. Odometer says 37,000 miles. Now, I'm not %100 convinced that the odometer reads true. But, it seems to be pretty close. The interior is super clean with zero wear. The engine looks really clean also. I'll post pics later. Supposedly an old man bought it in 94 and later ended up getting sick and past away. The truck sat for years until the old man's son came and got it in Ohio and brought it down to Arkansas. Anyways, I'm not knowledgeable about these trucks and have some questions.
1) I read that the 3.0 3zve is an engine known for problems. I saw at one point Toyota did a recall for the head gasket. Is there a way to check if that has been done?
2) A couple of things I was thinking of doing to the engine was to delete the exhaust crossover tube, delete the EGR and do a complete tune up on it. Is there anything else to help the longevity of the engine/tranny?
3) The gas pedal seems to be a little sticky/jumpy. Maybe I'm just not used to driving a vehicle this old anymore. Is there anything I can do to smooth out the gas pedal movement?
I'm sure I will come up with more questions later. Thanks for any advice!

I'm pretty jealous of how few miles that thing has! You could do a VIN search at the dealer to see if HGs have been done yet, I would assume not if the mileage reading is accurate. I'm not all that familiar with these, but if the egr stuff is working I would leave it. The throttle cable probably just needs a good cleaning and lube.
