The input shaft welded to the output shaft and destroyed it. Have searched trans parts on line and it seems to be unavailable. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Marlin Crawler can source transmission parts most of the time. If not you may have to get a spare trans for parts.

 

Yes I tried Marlin and got the same answer from Cobra. They are not available. My transmission man thought the ax5 or ax15 would work but it doesn’t. Strange that all other shafts are available but not the output. I’ve searched for a replacement trans but not one anywhere in southeast according to my salvage yard guy. Seems strange sense that trans was used in v6 Toyotas from 1988-2004. Yes Marlin offers a rebuilt trans for around 2 grand. Stuck in Bama.

 

Those trans outlast the trucks up in the salt belt. I've got one for sale but that doesn't help you down there.

 

I see them on Craigslist often down here in southwest Florida. I have a couple guys down here that have a hoard of parts. I know most people won’t drive far for things but it doesn’t bother me I enjoy getting out and about
