22re pvc valve defective

So I got a 1990 Toyota pickup 22re and having some off and on long crank startup when the engine semi-warm after sitting for a while I want to go check on the PCV valve and this is what I found it wasn’t closing all the way check picture below do you guys think they would have something to do with it? And why and how did this happen ? Has anyone else had this happen?

I don't think it’s related but you could just block off the inlet to the intake to see if that changes anything as a test.

I agree. The PCV is for reducing air pollution according to the internets but do the above test and report back. I have similar symptoms to you right now and narrowed it down to the Cold Start Injection system or the fuel pump or the COR leading to the fuel pump or the electrical wiring from the Ignition or possibly the timing or a bad ground or the ignitor or..
