Exclamation 1991 4runner with 00 3.4 swapped into it bogging down.

The 91 was a 3.0 4wx with a 5spd that I used for the swap. The 3.4 was from a 2000 4runner 4wd with auto trans. Harness was from a 96 4runner 2wd auto trans and the ecm is a 95.5 T100 manual 4wd. IV got it running and driving with just needing a few more things to complete. The issue I'm having is when I mash the throttle it bogs down almost stalling out. If I ease into it it does fine. It idles great and doesn't overheat. What would cause it to bog down that way?

I can only guess the ecu and fuel pump. Steer towards the fuel pump and see if you can get a spare to test out. I have this issue with an after market fuel pump on my SV track bike. I am waiting for an OEM fuel pump.

Fuel pump should be oem. Could the regulator have these issues?

Just unhooked cylinders 1 3 n 5. Even with all unhooked it had little to no effect on the engine running.

That sounds like the engine is really only running on cylinders 2, 4, and 6. Since these cylinders seem to be fine, you are looking at a bank specific issue.

Now you have to figure out if the problem is air, fuel, spark, timing (ignition and mechanical) for cylinders 1, 3, and 5.

It idles fine now. But if I pin the throttle it floods and misfired. If I ease into the throttle like normal it kinda floods at some rpms but not at other rpms. I'm lost as to what it could be. No one local can help so thats out.

check the wiring on your TPS sensor. do you have a ODB scan tool? This is a common problem on the celica swapping a 2ZZ in from a 1ZZ. 2 wires on the TPS are swapped so when you are at idle the TPS shows 90% and if you floor it the TPS shows 11% your symptoms have the same results of this condition.

Obd doesnt work right now. Just says error. IL check my wiring diagram and the tps and see if those wires are crossed.
