rear drum damage

my god, the dealer just raped me. my axel seal crapped out and leaked fluid into my drums, saturating my drums and shoes, the price? 1100$ :pat: don't let this happen to you, check that seal. my ass hurts. -dd

yep, reno toyota, didn't even get a firm handshake, the guy is giving me a break on the front brake job tho, gee, thanks. i'm going to get hammered now, though i can only afford hams. -dd

Last time my axle seal went to crap it cost me:

$10 for 2 seals (1 for a spare when the other side goes out)
$30 for Valvoline Synthetic 75w90
$3 to wash all of the gear lube from the wheel, tire, & fender well.

Total $43. Did it myself. The easiest job I have ever done that I assumed would be tough.

way to rub it in!

WIth the $1057 left over you could have gone to the moonlight bunny ranch and had covassier, gotten in a fight, gone to jail and bailed yourself out. Id give those p holes at RT a piece of my mind.
