Not sure if posting in the right section I’m new to this forum. Anyways I recently purchased a 1980 Toyota pickup and for the most part it looks pretty rust free besides these seams. Anyone have any experience fixing this? Tricks tips would be very much appreciated. I have also noticed on each side of the truck there is dimples in the body, is this the factory welds Coming through the paint? I will try and upload some better pictures later on. Thank you.
I would suspect the only good way of repairing is to bead blast inside and out, repair as necessary then coat with POR15 before repainting. The bumps are probably from rock damage, as they get thrown from the tires and rattle around between the inner and outer panels. My 81 bed had the same damage
