2nd Gen Alternate Seat Idea - Subaru Seats

Many of you probably have worn out stock seats.
front seat mounts are about 16.5" on center.
I was using a set of 95'ish Prelude seats in my 94 that i had transplanted from my old 81 Trekker project.
They are still in great shape and comfortable but I was looking for heated seats. I was going to install a set of inserts but they were too wide to fit between some of the seat panels.

Pick and Pull had a 50% off sale memorial day weekend.
spent friday morning checking out different seats.
several were trashed, a set out of an Audi would have been nice, they were cloth but I didn't see any switch for heated seats.

Search turned towards Subaru's. Front mounts are also at 16.5" apart.
Paid $45 for the pair of seats and the switches for the heater inserts

Found a set of Heated Leather & power seats out of a 2005 outback that looked like they would clean up easily.

Pulled them, got them home. Hooked up a drill battery to the harness, the heaters heated up nice and warm and the motors for the power seats worked like they should

Threw the passenger seat in..I was really surprised to see that not only did the front mounts line up exactly, the outside rear mount line up on the factory toyota mount.

The inside rear mount will take a little slice and dice to make work but that is gonna be pretty simple

I am going to get some gray leather dye and do a test on one of the headrests to see if I can get them to match the interior
