1991 22RE Cold Start White Exhaust

So the engine is a 22RE. Has about 100k on rebuild. Today, I fired it up cold, as it sat for 8+ hours, and white smoke came out the exhaust. It looked like a smoke machine. As the motor warmed the exhaust turned blue and less of it. Then fully warmed not problem at all. Last week when I filled up, I did drop in some injector cleaner in the case tank. Not sure if that would do anything. Thoughts?

What is a case tank?

Im not very good with quantifying the color of exhaust plumes (color blind!), I'm much more comfortable sticking my hand in the exhaust.. Does it smell like coolant, does it smell like fuel, is it oil, is it molten metal.. These I'm much more comfortable with..

If it happens again in the morning, your radiator is low, there is milkshake on your dipstick. You should be more concerned. Otherwise chaulk it up to fuel line sludge got barfed out..

It is worth noting that hydrocarbons like fuel and glycerin (that is the fuel line sludge iirc) can cause the catalytic converter to burn, like legit ignite and burn off the platinum and degrade the perforated metal...
