Everything goes away once she's warmed up. any suggestions? someone mentioned valve clearance for the clicking noise. Why would clicking go away once it warms up?

The power loss goes away with a few revs. It's a 22r carbed. I have to pump the accelerator 2x before starting cold.

The ticking could be valve clearance or even an exhaust leak. The reason it goes away when it warms up is with heat things expand, and clearances are decreased due to this expansion. So the rocker arm tip and valve stem get closer together when they get warm, so the space between the two when its cold, is decreased when they're hot. Same for exhaust leak. If it's leaking at the head-to-manifold gasket, the head and manifold flange both expand when they get hot, thus closing the space causing the leak.

Understand that this expansion and contraction in minuscule. Only a few thousandths of an inch, if that. But it's enough to make a valve tick or slight exhaust leak go away...

Check the functionality of both the Axillary Acceleration Pump (AAP) and the Vacuum Switch Valve (VSV) that controls vacuum to the AAP. The AAP adds a little extra fuel during initial acceleration on a cold engine.

This is normal. Pumping the gas pedal twice is in the cold engine start up procedure in the owner's manual.
