I’ve been looking everywhere for the belt molding that goes on the outside door at the base of the window, I know they are discontinued but there’s got to be something aftermarket or for another model that I could make work. I lost the passenger side the other day going down the road, it’s 31” long and any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated! I just bought the truck a couple weeks ago and I’m just fixing it up a little and driving it everywhere! 1984 Toyota pickup base model long wheelbase, I’m hoping some of the long time Toyota guys can help me out because it’s driving me crazy just missing that one belt molding.

No window vents, sorry I meant to say that. The ones with window vents I can find oem and brand new but they are only 22” long
I need the ones that are 31” long for no vents

Thanks I just sent them a message asking if it was for the vent window or not, I searched eBay for days and every single one I found on eBay like that said it was for the shorter 22” vent window moldings. I never thought I would have this much trouble finding them, I work at a body shop and I went out on the scrap lot just to look at all the moldings out there just to see if there was anything from a newer vehicle that I could make work but no luck we don’t have many Toyota’s out there right now. I know there’s got to be some aftermarket version out there but I’ve tried googling it every way I could think of with no luck, that’s why I came here to make a post because I know there’s had to be someone else that’s had this same issue and figured something out.

 

These are the ones I got for my no-vent windows 1984 pickup

 

The two part numbers that NYHumpinUtah posted are correct for 1984-1988 Trucks without vent windows, and still appear to be available through Toyota.

Part Number 68160-89114 is the right hand side weatherstrip.

Part number 68160-89115 is the left hand side weatherstrip.

As far as I know, there is no aftermarket company making these particular parts.
