How much ATF does the torque converter hold?
Well long story but I'm trying to figure out how much ATF the TC holds on a 86 22re pickup, if I remember right its 3qts?

Takes about 4 if you just pull the plug and drain. .
takes about 7 if you pull the pan...
about 12 if you do a flush...
